압존법 (壓尊法) 이란? (What is Apjonbeop?)
압존법 (Ap-jon-beop)이란, 듣는 이가 말하는 이보다 높고, 말하는 대상이 듣는 이보다 낮을 경우, 대상을 높이지 않는 한국어의 독특한 규칙입니다.
Apjonbeop (Ap-jon-beop) is a unique Korean honorific rule: if the listener is higher than the speaker, and the subject is lower than the listener, you do not use honorifics for the subject.
