✏️ 주요 어휘 Vocabulary

1. 기부 [gi-bu]

자선 사업이나 공공사업을 돕기 위하여 돈이나 물건을 대가 없이 내놓음 / Donation.
그는 매달 수입의 일부를 기부하고 있습니다. (He donates a portion of his income every month.)

2. 수익금 [su-ik-geum]

이익으로 얻은 돈 / Proceeds, earnings.
복권 수익금은 공익을 위해 사용됩니다. (Lottery proceeds are used for the public interest.)

3. 소외되다 [so-oe-doe-da]

어떤 무리나 환경에서 멀어지거나 따돌림을 당하다 / To be marginalized, to be isolated.

어떤 일을 하는 계기를 이용하여 다른 일도 할 때 사용합니다 / While one is at it.

(Since I was going to the convenience store, I also bought a lottery ticket.)

2. -기 위해서 [-gi wi-hae-seo]

어떤 목적이나 의도를 나타낼 때 사용합니다 / In order to, for the sake of.
이웃을 돕기 위해서 복권을 사는 사람들도 있습니다.
(There are people who buy lottery tickets in order to help their neighbors.)

3. -(으)면서 [-(eu)myeon-seo]

두 가지 이상의 동작이나 상태가 동시에 일어남을 나타냅니다 / While (doing simultaneously).
커피를 마시면서 친구와 이야기해요.
(I talk with my friend while drinking coffee.)
