Hello! It's Day 8 of the TOPIK 60-day course. Instead of learning new content today, we will take time to firmly reinforce the core vocabulary and grammar we've learned over the past 7 days. Review is the most important key to improving your Korean skills!

📚 핵심 어휘 복습 (Core Vocabulary Review) (5분)

그동안 배웠던 필수 어휘들을 떠올려 봅시다. 각 단어의 의미와 예문을 다시 한번 확인해 보세요.

Let's recall the essential vocabulary learned so far. Check the meaning and example sentences for each word again.

하다 (ha-da): To do / 하다

저는 매일 운동을 해요.

I exercise every day.

많다 (man-ta): To be many/much / 많다

여기에 사람이 정말 많아요.

There are really many people here.

그리고 (geu-ri-go): And, And then / 그리고

밥을 먹었어요. 그리고 커피를 마셨어요.

I ate rice. And then I drank coffee.

📝 핵심 문법 복습 (Core Grammar Review) (10분)

기초부터 중요한 문법 표현들을 복습하고, 다양한 예문으로 활용 연습을 해봅시다.

Let's review important grammar expressions from the basics and practice using them with various examples.

1. -(스)ㅂ니다 / -아/어요 (-(seu)pnida / -a/eoyo): Polite Endings

의미: 문장을 끝맺는 가장 기본적인 높임 표현입니다.

Meaning: The most basic polite endings to finish a sentence.

저는 학생입니다.

I am a student (formal).

저는 학생이에요.

I am a student (standard polite).

2. -이/가, -은/는 (-i/ga, -eun/neun): Subject Particles

의미: 문장의 주어를 나타내는 조사입니다.

Meaning: Particles that indicate the subject of the sentence.

친구가 왔어요.

My friend came.

이것은 책입니다.

This is a book.

3. -고 (-go): Connecting actions sequentially or listing

의미: 두 가지 이상의 행동이나 사실을 순서대로 연결하거나 나열할 때 사용합니다.

Meaning: Used to connect two or more actions or facts in order or to list them.

아침에 일어나고 세수를 했어요.

I woke up in the morning and washed my face.

4. -지만 (-ji-man): Contrastive ending

의미: 앞선 내용과 반대되거나 대조되는 내용을 연결합니다.

Meaning: Connects content that is opposite or contrasted with the preceding content.

날씨가 좋지만 바람이 많이 불어요.

The weather is nice, but the wind is blowing a lot.

✍️ 연습 문제 (Practice Exercise) (5분)

배운 어휘와 문법을 활용하여 문장을 완성해 보세요.

Complete the sentences using the vocabulary and grammar you've learned.

1. 저는 사과를 좋아 배는 안 좋아해요. (-지만을 사용하세요 / Use -jiman)

2. 비가 왔어요. 우산을 가지고 갔어요. (그래서 / 그리고 / 하지만 중 알맞은 것을 고르세요 / Choose the correct one from 그래서, 그리고, 하지만)

3. 저는 오늘 도서관에 . (-아/어요나 -(스)ㅂ니다를 사용하여 문장을 끝내세요 / End the sentence using -a/eoyo or -(seu)pnida)

정답: 1. 좋아하지만 2. 그래서 3. 도서관에 가요 (또는 갑니다)

하다 (ha-da) - To do

오다 (o-da) - To come

가다 (ga-da) - To go

많다 (man-ta) - Many/Much

좋다 (jo-ta) - Good

같이 (ga-chi) - Together

그래서 (geu-rae-seo) - So

그리고 (geu-ri-go) - And, And then

하지만 (ha-ji-man) - But, However
