However, their love was foreshadowing a tragedy. If a child was born between a human and a demon, the human mother would lose her life due to a cruel fate. Ryu Mi-young could not give up on the child born of her love with Jin-woo, Rumi. Sensing her own death, she asked Celine, a member of Bubble and her best friend, to take care of Rumi. In 2004, the moment Rumi was born, Ryu Mi-young's short life came to an end.

Meanwhile, Gwima, the leader of the demon camp, prepared a powerful strategy to eliminate the Demon Hunters: creating an idol group to threaten the hunters. Jin-woo seized this opportunity to approach Gwima. Knowing that his daughter, Rumi, would one day grow up to be a hunter, Jin-woo deceived Gwima by saying he would debut as a member of the idol group 'Sajaboyz' to protect Rumi.
