오늘은 그 세 번째 시간으로, 글의 내용을 ‘요약하고 강조하는’ 마법의 접속부사, ‘즉’과 ‘다시 말해’에 대해 알아볼게요.
Today, for our third lesson, we'll learn about the magical connecting adverbs '즉' and '다시 말해' that 'summarize and emphasize' the content of a text.
이 두 단어 뒤에 나오는 문장은 곧 글쓴이가 전달하고 싶은 ‘진짜 핵심’입니다!
The sentence that comes after these two words is the 'real core' the author wants to convey!
1. 잊지 마세요! ‘즉, 다시 말해’

이 두 단어는 앞에 나온 내용을 다른 표현으로 바꾸어 ‘덧붙여 설명’하거나, 핵심 내용을 ‘다시 한번 강조’할 때 사용합니다.
These two words are used to 'add an explanation' by rephrasing the previous content in different words, or to 'emphasize the core content one more time'.
즉 (jeuk)
발음: 즉 [즉]
앞의 내용과 동일한 내용을 더 간결하게 표현하거나, 명확하게 정의할 때 사용합니다.
It is used to express the same content as before more concisely or to define it clearly.
다시 말해 (da-si mal-hae)
발음: 다시 말해 [다시 말해]
앞의 내용을 좀 더 쉽거나 풀어서 설명할 때 사용하며, ‘다시 말하자면’과 같은 의미입니다.
It is used to explain the previous content more easily or in more detail, and has the same meaning as 'to put it another way'.
‘즉’과 ‘다시 말해’가 나온다면, 앞 문장의 길이에 상관없이 바로 뒤 문장만 읽어도 정답을 찾을 수 있는 경우가 많습니다.
If '즉' and '다시 말해' appear, you can often find the correct answer just by reading the sentence that follows, regardless of the length of the preceding sentence.

The core definition of value consumption is what comes after '즉': 'consumers purchasing by considering a company's social responsibility as well'. It summarizes the long preceding sentence into one sentence.
