In addition, a golden chest was hanging on a tree branch, and underneath it, a white rooster was crowing loudly. Seeing this mysterious sight, Hogong immediately ran to the palace and reported the situation to the king.
탈해왕이 친히 숲으로 가서 그 상자를 열어보니, 안에서 영리하고 아름다운 아기가 일어났습니다. 왕은 기뻐하며 신하들에게 큰 목소리로 말했습니다.
"이는 하늘이 나에게 보내준 귀한 아들이니, 이름을 '알지'라 하고 금궤에서 나왔으니 성을 '김'이라 하라!"
When King Talhae personally went to the forest and opened the box, a clever and beautiful baby stood up from inside. The king rejoiced and spoke to his ministers in a loud voice: "This is a precious son sent to me by heaven, so name him 'Alji' and since he came out of a golden chest, let his surname be 'Kim'!"
